Even our beliefs systematically create a checkpoint before we act on anything. These typical sabotaging beliefs are picked up throughout our lives even from the time we are small children. We get them from TV, media sources, teachers, relatives, parents, siblings, school mates, friends, bosses and the list goes on from any and all of our experiences and interactions. And it's just not that easy to turn it around. You can't just say to yourself, "Well, I just won't think that way anymore!" Repetitive ingrained patterns of learning connected to our emotional and physical thoughts and feelings are working behind the scenes. So ... what are you thinking about? I don't want to eat that whole pint of ice cream in the fridge... but what do you end up doing?
